Short characteristics of the site: South Bohemian basins, Quaternary. Nature reserve, protecting peat bog, formerly exploited by turf digging method. This peat is underlain by two-mica and sillimanite-muscovite paragneiss and Cretaceous sediments of the Klikov Formation.
